The Culture Club: Cultural Studies Scholars’ Association is an interdisciplinary organization founded in 2006 in order to bring together graduate students from the American Culture Studies, Popular Culture, Theatre and Film, Psychology, History, and other disciplines with an interest in Cultural Studies.
Working collaboratively, we have dedicated ourselves to developing the annual national graduate student conference, “Battleground States,” held on the campus of Bowling Green State University.
The Culture Club also sponsors the Tuesdays at the Gish film series, featuring screenings of public domain, rare, and independent films in the historic Gish Film Theater on Tuesdays during the school year.
